The birth of Delizia d’Este
I have always been passionate about animals, dogs in particular and country lifestyle. After spending years as an entrepreneur in the telecommunications industry, I decided in 2006 to take upon a radical change in my professional and personal life. I had the opportunity to acquire some land and fulfill my lifelong dream: dog breeding.
From that initial concept, a much more elaborate project has arisen which day by day gets more developed and articulated into new initiatives and activities.
That is how the agri-touristic enterprise Delizia d’Este was born which embodies not just a new career but my new lifestyle which I have embraced with my typical commitment, enthusiasm and creativity.

The farm
At Delizia d’Este the concept of an agro-touristic business is fully expanded and includes both traditional farming activities such as horticultural and fruit cultivations as well as more innovative agricultural activities such as dog breeding, a B&B and a didactic farm. The breeding, selection and training of dog breeds have been recognized for almost two decades as farming activities in all respects.
The Farm produces melons, watermelons, other fruit and vegetables, which are sold on site in summer.
In particular, melon and watermelon are typical products of Ferrara’s territory, already known and appreciated fruit at the time of the Este’s Court. They are waiting for the IGP certification and are among the “17 pearls of Ferrara“, gastronomic products of excellence of our territory.
